Keeping in view
the vulnerable status of women and
children in Rural Society, particularly
owing to their economic dependance
on others, the Trust will implement
Training Programs in Technical Skills
and impart management skills to
give rural women opportunity to
build their own co-operative enterprise.

The
Trust will aim at dealing with issues
like Health, Education, Rural Development
and better working conditions for
the poor women who are facing the
problems of discrimination in a male
dominated village society. |

Health Care and Nutrition |
In
the field of Health, Nutrition and
Family Welfare, the Trust will offer
high priority to Eye Care, Dental
Care, Medical Check-ups, Blood Donation
camps etc. in and around Thandalam
Village and make the people aware
of the need for medical care. A beginning
has been made with an Eye Camp where
over 50 villagers were provided with
spectacles etc. |

Water Supply and Drinking Water |
|
In
spite of years of effort and promises,
the people in the villages are deprived
of safe drinking water. The Trust
will make all efforts to make available
to the people of Thandalam safe drinking
water by implementing the Drinking
Water Scheme as suggested by the Government.
Presently the Trust is working
on a Solar Water Purifying Scheme
which is expected to be implemented
shortly. |

Energy and Environment |
With the development
of rural areas by increased amenities
and with the increase in educational
levels, there is a tendency to neglect
the most important aspect of environment
protection. The Trust will keep
a balance between Development and
Environment and will take steps
to keep “Clean Environment”
free of pollution by expanding the
“Green Technology”.
The Trust will propagate the processes
of Sustainable Development, besides
focus on Energy Efficiency and Conversation
to the children in particular and
public at large.

effort to promote and establish Social
Causes such as above need involvement
of people with similar thinking and
the success of our efforts will be
dependant on the support we receive
from such persons. Any assistance
from people like you will be appreciated.
